I’m Dave Artus, once a child immersed in books, now retired and still never without a book, albeit on a Kindle. As a student I learned to love music from Pink Floyd to June Tabor via Havergal Brian and Keith Jarrett. I then become a maths teacher, and ultimately an IT Consultant. In retirement I seem to have become a singer-songwriter. However, much more importantly our children have grown and prospered, and love books. We now have 3 lovely grandchildren, two are new and have yet to graduate to “Goodnight Gorilla!”, but one is now going on five and I’ve had a great deal of fun finding him books he can relate to.
